Safety precautions

Just like any other sport, jumping rope the incorrect way might lead to injuries.

To prevent this from happening, here is what you should do before and after every workout session.

1. Warm up/Cool down

A warm up before and a cool down after every jumping session is extremely important. You can find the warm up and cool down on ROJU APP.

2. Gear

Wearing the appropriate shoes, clothes and having the right equipment is important to reduce risk of injuries.

For shoes, running shoes with shock-absorbing sole are recommended. It can help prevent injuries to the ankle by absorbing some of the shocks from the jump.

For clothes, baggy and loose-fitting clothes are not recommended. Wear sporty clothes during your jumping session.

Use a jump rope mat when you are jumping on hard surfaces, like concrete. The mat levels the surface to make it smooth, and alos act like a shock absorber.
