Adjusting your rope

Ropes usually come in thee standard 10 feet. This length may not be the suitable length for everyone. So what is the appropriate length? For beginners, it is recommended to have the rope till the chest area. More advance jumpers can shorten rope to the waist area.

Here are 2 ways to adjust your rope.

1. Tying knots

To shorten the rope, you may tie a few knots at the end of the handles. However, do not tie more than 4 knots. (If more than 4 knots are required, you may try the second method.)

2. Cutting off rope

You may untie the rope, take out some of the beads, and cut the excess rope. This process is irreversible, so make sure this is your last resort.
